About Joe

   Joe Di Bari grew up in the Bronx. He is a graduate of Lehman College of the CUNY. Teaching science for twenty-six years in urban school settings, including Troy and The Bronx has gifted him a city voice gritty and honest. A rural life now has made him more eclectic and reflective. His former students remind him every day that he made the correct career choice. His motto is: “Teach and you will learn.”
​    Joe is a great storyteller and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. He has been published as a poet, novelist, short story writer and songwriter.
